OATMEAL
Prep and cook time: Less than 10 minutes
Makes: 4 servings
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract or store-bought vanilla extract (optional)
Optional toppings: Pecans, walnuts, berries, diced apples
1. Combine all the ingredients in a small pot, bring the mixture to a boil, and stir.
2. Turn the heat down to a low simmer and stir occasionally until almost all the milk is absorbed, about 5 minutes.
